November 2014 Newsletter

Membership Card information:

If you have submitted a membership application form and haven’t yet received a membership card, please note that forms received from 30/10/2014 will not be processed for new cards until the second week of November. This will not affect fans travelling on the supporters coaches, as we have updated our database with all new member details and can refer to this when taking bookings for seats.

Upcoming Travel:

We’ve sold 60 seats so far for our coaches to the FA Cup tie at Bury on Saturday 8th November. We originally booked three 49 seat coaches but are likely to only run two unless there is a great demand over the next few days. Tickets will be on sale at Vauxhall Road on the evening of Tuesday 4th November (Hemel are at home to Sawbridgeworth in the Herts Senior Cup), please note that Supporters Club secretary Chris Pelling will be managing this trip, see him at Vauxhall Road on Tuesday or for enquiries please email instead of me or the normal membership@hemelfans email address. You can buy tickets for the Bury match at the same time as your coach tickets.

Seats for the Bury trip are priced at £20 each, there is no reduced cost for juveniles on this occasion, however Hemel FC sponsor Underwoods have offered to pay the cost of travel and entrance fee for anyone under the age of 18, click here for further details of this offer and how to obtain a voucher to redeem for free tickets.

We have a 32 seat coach booked for our away game at Sutton United on Saturday 15th November – seats are priced at £10 adults and £5 Under 21’s, the coach will probably leave around 12.30 (to be confirmed). Opportunities to sell tickets for this trip will be limited between now and then, please to reserve your seat.

Supporters Club Meeting:

Subject to Hemel having a game scheduled for this date between now and then, we plan to have a Supporters Club meeting at Vauxhall Road on Tuesday 25th November at 7pm. This will be an opportunity for the supporters club committee to talk about the progress of the club and for members to provide feedback and comments about how the away travel has been organised so far this season. Ultimately, we want as many fans as possible to attend and help our supporters club improve with ideas, suggestions and criticisms (if applicable…).
