Our recent planned trip to Hemel’s game at Wealdstone was cancelled when the game was postponed. For this trip, we had arranged a coach which would be FREE of charge for supporters club members to travel on – we aim to run the same free coach for the rescheduled match on Monday 22nd February 2016. Kick off is 7.45pm and the coach will aim to leave Vauxhall Road on 6.15pm but we will attempt to apply some flexibility to ensure fans can get there from work etc. We’ve retained the same list of passengers from the original game – if you had put your name down before and now don’t want to travel on the coach to the midweek game, please let me know.
We’re at Whitehawk on Saturday 13th February 2016 and this was a popular trip last season. However, the train trip to Brighton for that game last season was also popular for fans who wanted to make a day out of it. Please note, there are planned engineering works on the route if you was planning to travel to Brighton by train from Hemel, changing in London between Euston and Victoria (the alternative route to Bright from Hemel, via Clapham, is running infrequently there and not at all on the way back). The direct train route from St Albans to Brighton is currently (as at 10/01/2016) priced at £16 return. If we run a coach to Whitehawk, it will cost at least £15 for adults – if you would like to express an interest travelling with the TSC in this trip then please let me know and if there are enough names, we’ll book a coach. Alternatively, we may be able to enquire about a group discount if enough people are keen to travel together by train.
